Care Info
Follow these simple steps to keep your Babian’s diapers performing their best — wash after wash.
getting started
Before first use
First wash
Before baby wears them- Wash covers at least once before use
- Wash liners 2–4 times separately from other laundry
- No need to dry between pre-washes — just rewash
- Liners reach full absorbency around 8 wash cycles
- Expect some shrinkage with natural fiber liners — this is normal
Dirty diaper care
Between changes- Shake or rinse off any solid waste from the liner
- Store soiled items in a dry diaper pail — no soaking needed
- Launder every 2 days or sooner
- Covers can be wiped and reused — only the liner needs to go in the pail
washing routine
Step-by-step wash guide
1
Run a rinse cycle with cloth diaper approved detergent using cold or warm water only. Do not overload the washer or mix with other laundry items.
Cold or warm water only
2
Follow with a heavy cycle. For covers, use cold or warm water. Use your machine’s recommended amount of cloth diaper friendly detergent — not more.
Heavy cycle · cloth diaper detergent only
3
Air dry or line dry whenever possible. Direct sunlight works great for liners — it speeds drying and naturally bleaches stains. Keep covers out of direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
